My first time here from NYS. I accidentally ordered something i didn't realize had meat. They were so amazingly great with remaking for me without meat. The meal was delicious. They should all be commended for their delightful service and personalities. Happy Thanksgiving đŸ„°

Ordered a large latte. Felt like it was 8oz in a tall skinny cup. For $7 really not worth it

Great addition to the neighborhood. Love getting the breakfast burrito in the morning and occasionally the overnight hours. Wonderful place to meet up with friends or to crush some work. - Mike from iRepairRoyalOak

1st time visiting. Very nice, quaint coffee house. I had a mango smoothie that came with WHIPPED CREAM on top! The was a first. And it was sooo delicious! I really appreciated and enjoyed the gluten free banana bread. Overall a great meet-up place.

Someone wanted their coffee re done because it was too sweet and they looked at us weird and didn’t want to remake it lol. Cheap people will bite you in the bite best believe. Our group got 7 coffees. Lost a lot of business and will continue to

I won’t leave a poor rating because my husband and I frequent Roast multiple times a week and generally have positive experiences. Their employees are usually the sweetest. I haven’t physically visited in a while as my husband usually grabs my coffee. But I had my first “gen z encounter”(tik tok reference) today. After me and another customer were waiting at the window for a least 2-3 minutes, they finally opened the window and just look at us. I immediately gave a bright hello. They looked at us both and after a beat said, “hi”. Nothing more, not even “what can I get you?”. I then gave my order. Me and the other customer were extremely pleasant throughout the encounter with please and thank yous and were met with the lowest, non pleasant energy as if we were bothering them. As a taller person, there was little effort to lean in my direction or raised their volume so I can hear them better even after asking them to repeat things. Maybe they’re having a bad day and I hold grace for that, but I left literally thinking, EW about that awkward encounter.

Had an awesome time chilling at Royal Oak Roast, where the coffee was rich and the vibe was super cozy. The staff’s friendly banter made it feel like a home away from home, perfect for a place to stay out of the hot sun!

We lost power and needed a place to plug in our laptops to work so we decided to stop in since we wanted a legit breakfast instead of standard low quality coffee shop food and it was great! The Apple Turkey sandwich was very refreshing and the breakfast wrap was huge. We will definitely be coming back.

Good coffee shop in the neighborhood with a various breakfast and brunch options. The food is standard. The seatings are comfortable to use computer or read. There are plenty of spaces.

The breakfast sandwich was good. Staff were welcoming, helpful and quick with my order. Coffee is decent (I drink black). Carrot cake is too dry. I could only eat half and that required drinking a bottle of water. Ambiance is ok but for dine in, the temperature was too cold. Everyone around me was wearing hoodies and it’s summertime.
