I stop in here regularly for a quick snack, the overnight oats. Quick service and usually a great mix of customers networking or simply working on their laptops and tablets. Worth stopping in and trying out a few different things on their menu.

Small independent coffee shop located below the Griffin in royal oak on Woodward just north of i696. People are often waiting for the doors to open at 7am even in the winter. Convenient walk-up service is available in the summer. They have your basic coffee drinks but their signature drinks for hot,cold, frapps, smoothies,etc. I'm not into coffee but enjoyed my tea blends. Their menu offers sandwiches, hot breakfast options and some muffin/breads including GF banana bread....

I just wanna say, I’m local and I go to this coffee shop weekly. They are SUPER consistent, friendly and the coffee and food is top tier. Whoever was working today, on Easter Sunday nonetheless, making burritos needs a raise because that thing was SO on point it raised the bar for breakfast. Thank you Roast and all of its employees for always taking care of me!
