Extremely poor service, everything was dirty. I ordered the sliders ( which was a burger cut into 3) and they had a very disgusting hair in it. We had to get our own silverware. Will not go to this establishment again.

This place is for young people, not seniors like us. No wait staff so you have to figure out how to do everything on your mobile phone. Fortunately woman at the entrance counter helped me. Only nice thing is you get to pour your own and try small amounts of different beers. Only one cider option. Anything non alcoholic?

Good spot to go on a busy night. The food that we had was not great. The portion size is really big though. We tried the cauliflower, the michigan salad, and the chicken wrap. we did love the ranch for the wrap.

Typically, nothing can drown my spirits when I am about to go to a Red Wings game, but the Royal Oak Tap House did just that. Me and my tiny bellied girlfriend went to this place of dining with high hopes and high spirits before our traditional Red Wings game ventures. We decided to split chicken strips and a plate of pasta. The service was actually pleasant. The food, that's why this review is being written. Let me tell you just what went down. The food came out in prompt time and boy was I hungry. I could not wait to jump into the chicken tenders and some pasta. The pasta came on this giant plate and was damn near overflowing. That was a nice surprise though as it seemed like an endless dish. So, you might be wondering where the issue arises. It was the dipping sauce of choice for my beloved chicken strip dinner. I was fooled into thinking that I would be dipping my dinner in ranch. But no, I was dipping my dinner in blue cheese!!! I was disgusted. It was an unpleasant surprise and killed my tastebuds. It was honest mistake but it should not have happened. Good luck to those that choose this location for a meal, may the odds ever be in your favor.

Taphouse has a great atmosphere and great food but the service is a bit slow. Management is questionable due to our party requested the main room for our get together and it was varied two separate days but when we arrived to start our party we found out that our party was bumped out of the area that we reserved without any type of notification because the other group was bigger. This is unfair and unprofessional for them to make such a change without any type of discussion with our event coordinator. So that get a low rate for this

Bartender was not efficient and left our waiter waiting for drinks. Our server apologized timeless for the service of the bartender.I’ve always known the place to have terrible service. A shame they can’t make any changes go help their customers. The serve even compt a round of drinks

Great house cocktails and appetizer menu. Highly recommend the pickle Bloody Mary. Every time I have been there the staff has been very friendly and attentive even when the the restaurant was busy. Comfortable
