What a horrible experience on their so called BOGO steak sandwich! Only One had a sufficient amount of sauce. Neither had much cheese or mushrooms. One very little cheese & maybe 3 mushrooms! Plus, where was the other half of sandwich! It was just the heels and NO cheese OR MEAT! It makes no sense to me that someone could even prepare a sandwich like this and deem it acceptable to put in the bag for takeout! Payed more for the meal for a takeout order then what it costs when i eat it in the building, 17$ for an order of hashbrowns bacon and toast. sorry excuse of service.
After years of giving this place a chance almost every Saturday and some Sundays, we have finally given up hope. This place is by far the worst and I wish shields had a little more to offer for breakfast.

Tony's of Shields serves hot and delicious food, impressing large groups and individuals alike. Their BlueGill dinner is a standout, with generous portions, tasty fries, and coleslaw. The steak sandwich is a highlight, and the AYCE cod is a popular draw. Friendly service and great coffee complete the experience.
The staff is generally nice, though a few customers have reported inconsistent service. One customer noted a cashier/waitress who did not acknowledge a waiting customer. Another customer had to remind their waitress to provide the extra sauce they had ordered for their steak sandwich, for which they were charged extra.
Despite these isolated incidents, many customers praise the excellent food and service. One customer, who recently moved to Shields, had a superb experience with their Cinnamon French toast and sausage, and the helpful server, Katie. Another regular customer, who visits at least once a month, enjoys the large portions, affordable prices, and feels at home when the server, Tasha, is working.
