We have been to the UP several times and each time try pasties from different places. So far, the first two times were just okay. But this time we went to homemade pasties and it was THE BEST we have had. Crust was flakey and perfect, and the filling savory and perfectly cooked. The gravy was also beyond wonderful. I made the mistake of saying gravy only with the sliders. Do not be like past Kim. Be like Kim in a few days who will get more beef pasties with gravy. All the gravy. If they offer it in quarts, quarts of gravy. Seriously. The sliders we found were easier to eat than the regular size, but honestly you can’t go wrong either way. I did prefer the beef to chicken.

Perfectly made Pasties! The crust is so well done and they make them round, which is unique.The filling is very flavorful in all of them but the traditional is hard to beat! The filling is all diced up very small and gets an even cook all the way through. They're so good!The shop has a collection of Michigan chocolate, fudge, syrup and a few treasures to take home.When you get on The 2 after the bridge, keep your eyes open for this shop that shares a building with a party store.

I'm not a fan of most Pasties but I do like the beef one and my husband loves the venison one. Their cole slaw was pretty good too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every time we cross into the upper Peninsula we stop off and get a few Pasties to go!!

Vacationing in the UP for the first time and wanted to experience the cuisine of the area. Pasties were all over and we stopped into this place on the way to the campground. The gentleman at the counter was knowledgeable and kind. We ordered the beef pasties with a side of brown gravy. It was absolutely delicious! We grabbed a couple packs of fudge to take home as well. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful! Got ours frozen and they provided 3 different reheating options. All that and excellent pasties in beef, chicken or vegetable. Very convenient, smoked whitefish and lake trout too, just west of the bridge.

This place is a great spot!The staff we're super friendly. They helped us out in a jam when they didn't need to! We forgot an extension cord at home for our air mattress while camping, and the whole town didn't have any, and they let us borrow theirs.The food smelled amazing, and I wish I had tried some before we headed home

The pasties crust was excellent. Pasties are large and stuffed. The brown gravy is so flavorful, though husband says a true Upper has catsup, he ate some of my gravy.
