We have been to the UP several times and each time try pasties from different places. So far, the first two times were just okay. But this time we went to homemade pasties and it was THE BEST we have had. Crust was flakey and perfect, and the filling savory and perfectly cooked. The gravy was also beyond wonderful. I made the mistake of saying gravy only with the sliders. Do not be like past Kim. Be like Kim in a few days who will get more beef pasties with gravy. All the gravy....read full review
Perfectly made Pasties! The crust is so well done and they make them round, which is unique.The filling is very flavorful in all of them but the traditional is hard to beat! The filling is all diced up very small and gets an even cook all the way through. They're so good!The shop has a collection of Michigan chocolate, fudge, syrup and a few treasures to take home.When you get on The 2 after the bridge, keep your eyes open for this shop that shares a building with a party store.
