Johnnie’s consistently delivers tasty food. When we’re in town, it is always our first stop for a meal. Our favorite is the whitefish dinner. Sweet potato fries are excellent too. Others in my family love the baked beans. But the takeaway is we have never been disappointed. Consistent service, food, and convenient to our cabin. Relaxing hang with family.

Family of 5, we went there based on the ratings and reviews since we are not from here. Boy were we disappointed. Took over an hour to get our food. My grandma ordered hot tea and it wasn't hot. We had very simple orders. 4 of us ordered the same thing. Our eggs were overcooked and hash browns were burned. The toast was stale, but the best part was the peanut butter for our toast. My husband's order was all messed up. Nothing was good for any of us.

Great food, excellent service, great prices! If you leave here hungry, you have a problem! The food portions are huge! And the food was amazing! 👍🏻 Next time we go to the UP, we will be stopping here again! We ate both breakfast and a dinner there and both were awesome!

All 4 of our party loved what we ordered. They're open later than pretty much every other restaurant in the area. It's a restaurant/bar, but it seemed pretty mellow. With a drink, expect to spend close to $20 per person, but it's fair for the quality of food, and the area.

Lovely bar/restaurant... great place to grab a bite and a drink... best burgers I've ever had honestly. And a nice place to meet family half way to exchange xmas gifts lol
Only 2 people in bar in late afternoon. Chicken tenders came out so over cooked you could not eat them. If I was a server I would not have gave them to my customer. Very close to burnt. Tater tots tasted like the oil needed to be changed. Workers were in kitchen the whole time we were there. This is the second time this has happened and will not come back. Don't waste your hard earned money there!
