Only 2 people in bar in late afternoon. Chicken tenders came out so over cooked you could not eat them. If I was a server I would not have gave them to my customer. Very close to burnt. Tater tots tasted like the oil needed to be changed. Workers were in kitchen the whole time we were there. This is the second time this has happened and will not come back. Don't waste your hard earned money there!

Friendly, efficient staff. The nachos were huge and oh so good! My husband had a burger and it was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Food is fantastic, they have a great tap, and it's the hospitality you'd expect in the UP. We met Ron who was subbing and he's a good hang!

Food was amazing and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Felt like a true U.P. eating experience! The only downfall was that the food took quite some time, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Still eating 5 stars for the excellent food!

We had dinner at Johnnie's on two nights of vacation. There were other choices.
But after we ate there the first night we knew it was a solid choice!
We were really hungry the first time and ordered the nachos. Wow!!
First, portion sizes are very generous here. We ordered the small and it was heaping and very good. I dare say it was probably the best we have ever had. We ended up taking a lot of it home and it was just as good the next day.
We both had the steak dinner. The price is very reasonable. Including mushrooms and onions is a really nice touch.
The fries are good. The cold slaw is very good.
We don't usually eat the same thing but it was such a good meal that we had the steak again when we returned.
We like going where the locals, not some chain. Johnnie's is for sure that place!
My partner ended up getting tips on where the casinos are from someone at the bar.
We even ended up rooting for Detroit with the rest of the patrons. How could you not? Besides, our Steelers weren't playing. 😆
Check out Johnnie's if you are in St. Ignace!

We totally loved this place. Could not find any restaurant that had decent nachos on the south side of the bridge. Went to Saint Ignace and discovered Johnny’s. Humongous nachos very good, talked to a few very nice people from the area. Dropped a star on this location and we will definitely be back.

We waited 30 minutes for breakfast after ordering and only 1 other table occupied when we got there. Food was good

Our server was really nice and did a great job! It took a while for the food to come out.
The burgers were good. Some of the items were barely warm. The music was really loud at times. Overall, a good stop if you aren't in a hurry.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at Johnnies on 2 and we felt like a part of the family from the minute we walked through the door. We were the first customers of the day and were warmly greeted by our server, Sandy. She seated us, conversed with us, and showed genuine interest in the road trip we were on. Our breakfast arrived piping hot, quickly, and the atmosphere we experienced showed a genuine passion for their product. Not only a pride in the food served, but a pride in their establishment and the area in which they lived. This type of personality cannot be faked and we felt like a beloved part of the community, even though we were just passing through. I can't thank y'all enough for a terrific experience!!

Excellent service. The portions were much bigger than expected. If you stop by ask for Jamie as she will make sure your taken care of.

Dietary restrictions: There is no dedicated grill for Celiac Options but they are willing to do what they can for those options.
