Welcomed by a totally over-served patron at the bar. Bartender was in nearly the similar state and told us to sit wherever. Finding a menu and set-up, we made eye and verbal contact with waitresses who spent her time bussing tables and ignoring us. After 15 minutes of waiting to place our order, we left and will not bother to go back. Miserable experience, non-existent service, and a place whose focus is liquor, not food.
We were having a heck of a time picking where to eat on our way back down state and boy are we glad we stopped here! We weren’t expecting anything special but the food was fantastic, server was great, manager was great! it’s been a long time since we’ve ate out and we’re actually happy we did instead of just cooking at home! Definitely stopping here again on our next trip up!
Stopped in last night for my buddies 21st bday and we had an absolute blast with sam she took great care of us, we wish her well and thank you for giving my friend a great birthday.
Stopped in for lunch on our way to Rock, MI. Leann took good care of us. The cheeseburger was awesome. Large and juicy, it was cooked perfectly. My buddies shared the pastrami and the butter burger. Both were excellent. The Bloody Mary was world class built by Leann herself. It was garnished with a pickled egg dipped in A-1 sauce, two sausage sticks, peppercini peppers, pickle, olives and a wonderful brown salt. Well done lunch did us right.
My experience at johnnies has been amazing i have been working on the island for a couple weeks here and i come to johnnies often wonderful experience the bartenders and cooks are wonderful
Amazing food! Salads are huge, like most of the portions. And the whitefish is so delicious! Fast, friendly service.
