Nice little grill we stopped at for lunch before heading to the Wawatam Lighthouse. I tried the Mackinac burger with fries. It was a large burger well cooked and very satisfying. The Mrs chose the Italian Grinder and slaw it was a very good sandwich. All in all it was a great lunch spot and just a short walk to the lighthouse.
Mackinac Grille & Patio Bar offers scenic lake views, friendly service, and local favorites like whitefish dishes. The patio is perfect on a nice day. While the food and experience are generally good. A solid pick for casual dining in St. Ignace with a great atmosphere.
Kind of a tourist trap, but the location is great. The hostess acted all huffy when we asked for a table on the patio, even though there were plenty available and they weren’t all that busy.
