Excellent pasties AND cookies!!The beef ones are my favorite!! I always struggle with getting either the stroganoff or mexican one. They're both excellent!! My wife gets chicken and my mother always gets veggi cheese. I'd eat a breakfast one every day if I could. The peanut butter cookies are my favorite but the chocolate chunk and oatmeal raisin fight for second place.Vegetarian options: Veggi pasty is excellent and made with the same quality and care as the meat ones. Not an afterthought.Parking: Plenty of parking right by the front door and handicap spaces available.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat bottom double-door makes easy access for wheelchairs and scooters.

On Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, I stopped at this pasty shop in St. Ignace (right off I-75) for lunch. I got a beef pasty with gravy, and it was excellent. I liked how the dough was thin, and it reminded me of the phyllo dough found in a Beef Wellington. I also ordered another beef pasty and a two-hearted ale (a Michigan beer made by Bell's in Kalamazoo) to go. The service was a front counter, and my meal came fast. I also found this place to be friendly. The interior was incredibly spacious. Like Lehto's, this is another pasty shop in St. Ignace that should be tried. This one is also a bit different.

Great little spot! Looks like it has been around awhile, but clean and pleasant. Plenty of seating and the lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful! Food came fast and fresh! Very filling and awesome flavor. We both got the original beef with gravy and sour cream. The cookies are fresh too. Great find.

This pastie restaurant is really nice. We went to the one in St Ignace as the one in Mackinaw City was closed for maintenance. But we have been to both of them and liked them both. The pasties we had were really good and the employees are so friendly. The place is very clean. The price is about normal for this area. But the pasties are worth it. Whenever we go to Mackinaw City or St Ignace we always have to get one of these pasties. And they are filling. It's a nice change from fast food or a fancy restaurant. We definitely recommend stopping here and getting a delicious "northern" pastie.

The crust was very light and flaky. The gravy was thick and full of flavor. The filling was also very good. The staff was cheerful and helpful with placing my order. The restaurant was also very clean.

Not among the best of pasties but pretty good. The beef version better than the chicken. The pasties were adequately warmed and packaged. The beef gravy piping hot. Actually the beef gravy tasted good but it was such perfect texture that it smacked of a commercial product. For that matter the pasties did too. The pasties were tasty as I’ve said but we prefer a thicker heartier crust more in the spirit of a hand pie — something you can pick up and eat if you want.

Bought two of these today - baked them when we got home and all we can say is wow! They are good. Next time we are in Saint Ignace, I'm bringing a cooler and filling it up.
