Excellent pasties AND cookies!!The beef ones are my favorite!! I always struggle with getting either the stroganoff or mexican one. They're both excellent!! My wife gets chicken and my mother always gets veggi cheese. I'd eat a breakfast one every day if I could. On Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, I stopped at this pasty shop in St. Ignace (right off I-75) for lunch. I got a beef pasty with gravy, and it was excellent. I liked how the dough was thin, and it reminded me of the phyllo dough found in a Beef Wellington. I also ordered another beef pasty and a two-hearted ale (a Michigan beer made by Bell's in Kalamazoo) to go. The service was a front counter, and my meal came fast. Great little spot! Looks like it has been around awhile, but clean and pleasant. Plenty of seating and the lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful! Food came fast and fresh! Very filling and awesome flavor. We both got the original beef with gravy and sour cream. The cookies are fresh too. Great find.
