This place is perfect. Literally, from the best pasty I've ever had (I got the roast beef one, but want to try venison next time), to the dining room that feels like you've time traveled back a few decades, to the fudge at the end of the meal-- I loved our visit here so much. The owner, Penny is delightful. She has so much pride in her work, and it made the experience that much better. I highly recommend stopping here when you get on the peninsula.
I had my first pasty here. It was pretty good. Small dining area connected to a convenience store. I enjoy eating at local spots when I travel and this location has a homey feel with a very nice staff.
First time trying a pasty, they are absolutely delicious. I had the beef which was very hearty and flavorful especially with the savory brown gravy. Cole slaw was excellent as well.
