Unpretentious, with a delicious menu that ranges from steak bordelaise (excellent job on the sauce) and fresh whitefish, to pizza and chicken fingers. Nice bar menu, and friendly, attentive staff.
We got there, and we didn't have to wait, got a table outside like we wanted. But the service was seriously bad. Basically, the waitress dropped one of the two pizzas we ordered (whatever, accidents happen). When she brought the other one, she told us what happened. I ordered another drink, and we waited and waited and waited. She didn't check on us for like 25 minutes, then finally brought the pizza. We asked for a box and the check because we weren't hungry anymore...
We had our anniversary dinner here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food and drinks were great. We had the Whitefish and steak. Both were cooked just right.
Our drinks were spot on. They even gave us some free champagne for our anniversary. Our waitress was excellent.
