“I've been to this location a few times, and both the staff and the food itself have been GREAT. My complaint is more related to the confusing nature of the menu. I literally got just flavored milk and boba the first/second time because it wasn't clear that there wasn't tea in it. If you want just a standard bubble tea, you have to order the Milk Tea and then add the tapioca pearls in. The menu is really confusing if you're used to regular boba cafes. But the staff has made up for it!“

“Love this place-
Tried Canelle for the first time in Detroit, and this branch is just as nice. This spot has fresh pastries, good coffee (and an amazing Mocha), and a comforting overall ambiance. The Parisian influence is especially nice and the outdoor patio on a crisp summer/fall day is just so pleasant. I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re on the lookout for a neat coffee spot in Ann Arbor.“
“I am a coffee enthusiast, who is getting a bit more into snob territory, and I have Hyperion to blame. I found Hyperion years ago by chance, and said “This is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I never even knew coffee could taste THIS good!” Now I’ve gone and bought coffee from several places, beans and drinks too. As I write this, I actually have 6 bags of various different coffee beans from places, each unique vendors… except for the two I got from Hyperion. I’ve yet to find ANYONE who has beaten them. Some have come close, some may have them beat in other ways. But ultimately, Hyperion makes THE best coffee I have ever had. I have tried to find someone who can best them and have not found them. I cannot recommend Hyperion enough. They ignited a passion for me, and continue to provide the utmost excellence in coffee. Oh, and they finally sold the banana guava beans! I’m SO excited to see how they turn out at home!“

“Really disappointed when I found out the lobster butter love was not actually a steaming molten cup of butter. But you know. Caffeine is just as good.
Roos Roast has a great group of Baristas! Some of the most wonderful people you could meet!“
“The best place to grab a drink downtown if you want to enjoy the time with your company, or if you want to spend time alone. The vibes are off the chart. No loud music, just great cocktails, beer, and service. Mark (the owner) is kind and inviting and the one bartender Ella matches his energy. This is the perfect third space (albeit the drinks aren't free).“

“My favorite coffee shop in Ann Arbor. Drinks are always made well, they have AMAZING food that's all fresh and tastes homemade, and I love how they are in the lobby for a building with multiple businesses around them; just an inspiring business design. An absolute can't-miss for coffee lovers in the area ❤️
Vegetarian options: Most things are vedge
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Wheelchair accessibility: First floor but the door will need to be held open and the threshold is a bit tough to get over while holding the door open“

“The bahn mi dog is delicious! The bun especially has such a nice texture. Good bread makes all the difference in a meal! The atmosphere is very chill, pleasant place to enjoy good food, high quality coffee or tea for a great price. I’ll definitely be back ❤️“

“Emily was great!! Not only was she knowledgeable and professional, but she was very personable. She cared to go above and beyond while I had a mild medical episode. She saved me from a trip to the hospital! Thank you so much for the Ibuprofen Emily!! You really came in clutch with those! I definitely recommend the Strawberry Nutella Crepe, the avacoda-salmon toast, and a pink drip!!!“

“We visited AD on a Sunday and weren't expecting the wait for close to 50 minutes! But I guess any place that has this long of a wait better be good and AD did not disappoint, at all! Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their main entrees except for the blueberry muffin (very dry) and seafood just doesnt jive with an omelet!! Service was a tad bit slow but that gave us more time with friends. Do try their shakes but be warned of their size!! In summary - An awesome brunch + lunch spot in A2. 5/5!“

“Had the most delicious muffin of the month, sweet potato marshmallow! Kenzie provided me with great service! I am forever indebted to her for serving me the most delicious hot chocolate; it was the perfect temperature for a 70° hot and sunny day!“
“Large open environment, beautiful large fireplace, very relaxing, kid friendly, great food and coffee! Staff is fantastic! Love going there!“
“I can make my kids to bike there just to have any of their muffins. These are awesome, terrific price. Lovely staff and kind service. My favorite is pumpkin chocolate muffin. There's also a very well stocked section of to go items including prepared food.“
“Great staff, always willing to talk with customers about food. Introduced great sandwich menu with build-your-own option. Burgers and fries with unlimited free toppings are awesome! Salad bar is quite good and one of few places you can eat healthy in the area.“
“Homes is one of the top breweries in Michigan. They routinely brew new and unique beers that manage to be well balanced, unique, and creative. Although I would not bring a novice beer dinner here, for anyone into craft beer this place is hard to beat.“
“Usually there’s at least one choice that’s good, if not more. The spring roll days bang tbh as well as the Dutch waffle. Workers are all cool. However the hours on weekends are terrible so it loses 1 star for that. Overall a slept on dining hall“

“This is my favorite restaurant on campus. I go like twice a week. The service is great, and the food is even better! My favorite item is the BLAST and the fish tacos are a close second. Also, French toast Fridays are always something to look forward to. All the dishes are made with high quality ingredients, and the wait is never too long even when they’re busy.“

“Food is always great, but what’s even better is the service. Staff is always friendly, manager is cool as can be. Makes me want to keep coming back. Love the atmosphere, can’t say enough great things about this place. Really wish more places were managed and operated like this, the restaurant world would be a better place!“

“We love this place! The staff is outstanding. They are friendly and helpful. One of the baristas, Gavin, always remembers my friends order even down to the amount of ice cubes he likes in his coffee! The owner Kim is welcoming and it is obvious how much she cares about her customers and her staff. My favorite is the snickerdoodle latte and my friend holds true to his pizza panini. Great place all around!“
