Recently tried Mi Zarape and was very impressed. My friend and I got takeout. Staff was friendly. Inside was very clean and had a fun atmosphere. Food was still warm when we got back to the apartment. He got a combo plate. I got the Guadalajara Burrito, a steak quesadilla, and guac & chips. All the food was fresh and tasted delicious. I definitely want to go and dine in sometime soon.

Fortunately the food is the highlight and the women who work they are polite and attentive.

Unfortunately, the negatives start with the tall male greeter whose personality is a disheveled and lazy as his appearance. He basically grunted at me and threw the utensils and menu on the table. He also is constantly wiping his nose with his hands without washing them while touching the menus and utensils. Pretty gross.

The male servers are borderline...

The Arroz con pollo can’t be beat. It’s the perfect cheesy and somewhat nutritious comfort dish. I’m glad that I have been able to get takeout and eat with loved ones here for over a decade. I love a publicly visible Jesus portrait, and theirs is right above the register counter. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the enchiladas as they get too crispy. I’d challenge any Mexican in Saline to Mi Zarape!
