“First visit in years..not so great in the past. Well, now I can attest the quality of every thing that makes an outstanding food experience exists at Mac's! My server Aly was top notch as well..I ordered a classic burger and fries,bread pudding,( which I never liked until I had theirs) and a Moscow mule. When she returned with my items, I felt like I was in a Michelin restaurant. Burger ( rich meaty flavorful, delicious) med/ rare was perfection..fries, ( ditto..service.. impeccable.I walked out feeling like a queen. ( I am a private chef of 50 years and particular about food.) Well done Mac's! 5 +stars!“

“Fantastic spot with lots to do and perhaps the best part- a beautiful black box theater to enjoy improv comedy, stand-up and more!
My dream came true when I went to Ann Arbor for my annual visit with the fam and there was actual great improv comedy happening at a fabulous brewery! My whole family came for the musical improv jam (and those that tired of it were able to go grab drinks at the bar and hang and chat in the spacious lounge/bar area).
They have classes, jams (for anyone wanting to try or watch improv games), stand-up comedy, and improv comedy like “Who’s Line is it Anyway” - so fun!
I was able to go back and catch a show on a Friday night ($15 pre-sale— cmon that’s a great price to try something new!) and watched hilarity ensue!
Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in town.

Today I'm down in the westside of Ann Arbor and this new restaurant Ricewood BBQ, OH MY GOD!!! On the recommendation of the lady behind the counter I got the Brisket bowl with sesame cucumbers, pickled onions and the spice was medium. A "real", in my opinion BBQ place, you even smell the smoke from the wood smoker walking up. I went to the one on North Maple and by far the best lunch I've had all summer!!!“

The girl at the door seating everyone seemed really odd. I told her we needed two seats. She grabbed the menues and silverware. We followed her to our table. She put the items on the table and left without saying a single word to us. I usually expect them to say follow me or tell me who will be our server. She didn’t say a word. Seemed mad. But it is a beer and burger place. Maybe I expect too much of people.“

“Sava's has been a favorite of ours for many years. It is a quality Ann Arbor restaurant that is always busy and has kept current with modern renovations and frequent menu updates. It can be a casual meal or an upscale experience, whatever you prefer. There is plenty of cuisine variety, yet just a single page of menu items. When we have out-of-town visitors this is one of our go to choices. I suggest making a reservation if dining during a prime time, as they do fill up quickly.“

“A very popular location, good luck getting a seat if you arrive later in the night. They move the line for drinks along incredibly fast, don't be intimidated. Prices are quite reasonable for a nice draft beer. Young and energetic scene but some of everything in the crowd. Good beer, make some friends due to close proximity.“

“It's really nice having AADC in the neighborhood, and as a distilling company they do great work and make quality spirits. They'll also often have delicious food trucks, which brings great food into the neighborhood. The vibe is lovely. The only downside is that you're paying an arm and a leg for a weak drink. We don't come here for the drinks.“

The interior is spot on: nice, clean, and super cozy with plenty of seating that's perfect for hanging out for a few hours. It's got this warm, inviting vibe with eclectic decor, including shelves filled with fun knick-knacks and colorful butterflies scattered around. Speaking of the butterflies, they really touched my heart – as someone with a daughter who has multiple sclerosis, the butterfly symbol holds a lot of meaning for me. It represents transformation and hope in the MS community, much like how people adapt and find strength after diagnosis. It made the whole visit feel even more special and personal.
Overall, Cahoots is a fun, welcoming spot with great drinks and a menu full of creative options. Highly recommend it for a relaxing coffee break – I'll definitely be back“

“Wow what a rare find here in the Midwest. I am from Tucson and have been very much missing authentic Mexican food and decided to try my luck once more as I was missing home today on Cinco de Mayo. I was SHOCKED at how amazing these tacos were. The meat was tender and flavorful and the tortillas were just right. I tried the Al pastor, carne asada, and birria, all of which were fantastic. This truly is an authentic spot that I am so happy to have found.“

I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

We just got lunch from the restaurant last week and our bill was over $50. No fees then! You have lost our business!!! We will be supporting other businesses in the area!“

“Glad to see this popular Asian boba tea brand in Ann Arbor. The service was fast and friendly. The room was clean with some seats. We tried several items. Matcha latte was the best with chewy boba. However, the tea tasted like the instant one sold in the grocery. 30% sugar level could be great for Asian people, because of its high sweetness.“

How do your recipes literally taste like liquid form of what you’re advertising them to be? Banana bread latte? You can’t convince me you didn’t blend a piece of banana bread in there. Campfire chai? I’ve literally been transported to a pumpkin farm surrounded by colorful leaves with a campfire in front of me. If your business were ever struggling you give me a call because I would sustain that place and buy 100 coffees a day if that meant the world would continue to be blessed by your existence. Don’t tell me it’s the quality of syrups or espresso, I KNOW the magic you use behind that counter to make your coffees so good. It’s called love. Thank you for always giving me the best lattes I’ve ever had. You make my morning commute bearable, dare I say enjoyable.“

I tried the chicken parm and it was pretty good, maybe a little heavy on the cheese but still tasty. My friend got the pasta Alfredo and said it was creamy and flavorful. Service was a bit slow at one point, but nothing too bad—we were just chatting anyway. Prices felt reasonable for the portions. I’d come back again if I’m in the area and craving Italian.“
