Didn't realize they made great pasties downstate. Stop by and the owner was really nice. We each took home 4 frozen beef pasties. Cooked a couple up that night and they were fantastic. Would definitely recommend them.
We wanted to dine-in but, sadly, they do not offer that option anymore.
Since I've wanted to try their pasties for years, I decided I would get a frozen one to go. It had very clear preparation instructions on the label.
OMG it was so good! I got the regular beef, potato and rutabaga with a side of gravy. The crust was perfectly flaky, the veggies were diced finely the heavy was spot on and the flavors blended perfectly!

This is a small, unassuming spot. My husband and I decided to make the trip out to try one of their pasties and I can say we weren't disappointed. The crust and filling are perfect and the gravy rounds it out nicely. If you're looking for fancy or dine in, this isn't it, but the food is great, the price is reasonable, the service was friendly. Will go back.
