This an absolute gem of a restaurant. The menu is French/European inspired and focused on highlighting duck in many of the dishes. The ambiance is very relaxed and welcoming. I encourage any diner, from a foodie to someone looking for a more predictable and modest meal, to try this restaurant.

Just love this place! We found it a couple weeks ago while walking around Saugatuck. We have our 3rd visit coming up this weekend. We had the mushroom app to start. They are provided to them by a local forager-delicious and creative! (Will be ordering these again!) Then we each had their Caesar salad. Big enough to split! We split the lamb bolognese, very generous portion! It was fantastic!! We loved the food!! Our waitress was amazing! Friendly, bubbly and great at her job. We love the ambiance. We like the bar section because we love chatting with the owner Dominick, who has been behind the bar both times. Officially added this spot to our regular repertoire of date night spots!

We really wanted to like duck alley, I would recommend the duck wings but our entree's weren't the best. Hummus can't be homemade or pita. Short rib was ok but got 2 small one's on top of the hummus, not a great combo in my view. The lamb ragu was sub par, not pieces of lamb more like a ground lamb over store bought pasta, a lamb shank or pieces of lamb would have been better. Also another waitress (not ours) accidentally brought over creamed horseradish with our baclava sundae which we thought was like a ice cream sauce, it was horseradish. Chef apologized but didn't comp the dessert. The wine was good and the Bar looked busy.

Everything I’ve had there has been amazing! Today I had the farro salad and the roasted mushrooms (definitely don’t skip those), my husband had the chicken naan, both fantastic! The burger is one of my favorites, as is the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. Staff is super friendly AND stylish (I’m talking to you, Dominic!) 100% make this a stop when you’re in town!

So, Duck Alley - the staff? Friendliness level: Jedi. Lunch menu vibes? Fried chicken naan is like a flavor explosion, and the burger is basically a high-five for your taste buds. But, dinner at Duck Alley is a bit of a rollercoaster. Some dishes are like a culinary mic drop, while others are more of a polite golf clap. Now, let's talk ambiance - the lights are brighter than my future, making it feel like a UFO landing zone. It's like dining in a hospital with disco aspirations. The front looks like a ghost town, and the kitchen door drama is real. Staff yelling, sports on TV, and a playlist that seems to have commitment issues - it's like sensory overload. Duck Alley, sort out the vibes, dim the lights, maybe dial back on the sports a tad, and you might have a dining experience worth bragging about.

When it comes to dining experiences that leave a lasting impression, Duck Alley in Saugatuck, Michigan, stands out as a true hidden gem with great food, craft cocktails, and exceptional hospitality. One of the standout dishes at Duck Alley is their signature Crispy Duck, a true culinary masterpiece that showcases the skill and creativity of the kitchen. The duck is expertly prepared to achieve the perfect balance of crispy skin and succulent meat, creating a symphony of flavors with each bite. Paired with seasonal sides sourced from local farms, it's a dish that delights the palate and leaves a lasting impression.

Our meal was good. Cooked well, hot and everything was fresh. The lights in the bar area are way too bright. Change out those light fixtures on the walls. Bar lights are great. I believe the owner was behind the bar. Way too loud talking (yelling) to customers across the room. Highly recommend toning it down. Class it up a little. Server was very pleasant! We will be back to give it another go. Definitely want it to succeed.

Amazing food, friendly staff, good selection of spirits. My favorites: The burger, smelt, duck wings, mushrooms, and baklava sundae. Oh, and they have the best house-made chips I’ve ever had.

The duck wings are pretty fire. The beat salad too. In general gourmet/smaller portions. Steak was better than what I got at Boddies the next night. Bartender/ owner is super cool. Honestly, best place I went to in Saugatuck.

Dinner for 6 of us on a snowy night. This was our second visit and all I can say is that I have a new favorite place to eat in saugatuck. Mussels are a must, the salads are fresh and well presented. You want some of everything in every bite? Try the Caesar wedge. Yummm.Other highlights are the duck wings, feta and olives, and the lobster and shrimp roll. The drinks are well thought out and well made. The owners are very invested and connected. Explore the menu and haves a great experience !
