Love it. Sad it's closing.
We absolutely love Guardian. The food, the brews, the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I love spending every "Palentines" with Kim and the crew in February!
Really good beer, sorry to see them close
Nice little brewery. Unusual blend made for an exciting experience. Had to bring some home!
I really loved the bourbon barrel Villainess pour! Also enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, good sandwiches and friendly staff.
Delicious beer here. Great variety, including sours. Right off the interstate. Our bartender was very friendly. They ID everyone, so remember your driver license. My favorite beer was the hatch chile cream ale, it had a great spice to with with lots of pepper flavor. Chips and hatch chile queso were great as well.
Fantastic. Great service, wonderful outdoor dog friendly dining area with heaters. The sandwiches and drinks did not disappoint. When back for. Second lunch the next day.
9-23-2023 Arrived at 1:00 PM and was told it would be an approximate 10 minute wait. After 35 minutes looking at numerous empty tables we were finally seated. Staff were completely unorganized. We had three different staff take out orders. After 75 minutes from arrival finally took a sip of beer. Food was good, staff pleasant but totally unorganized.
Terrible food. Please ask the manager to eat the carrots that come on the "monster " salad. -- White on the outside from drying out, totally limp, and slimy. Surrounded by pooping dogs.
If you're anywhere near Saugatuck & like beer, don't think, just stop here. You won't regret it! Every beer in our flight was delicious, staff was amazing, food was great. Love the atmosphere & all the decor. Great indoor space & a dog-friendly patio. One of my favorite breweries I've been to in a while!

We didn't have a lot of time so we only tasted 4 but everything we tasted was delicious. Normally I complain about the GFS pretzel bites but this time they were heated correctly and the cheese was DELICIOUS!
This used to be our #1 spot. Last fall we went and the food was not nearly as good as it used to be, No biggie…we learned later that the head chef and some staff left. So on a whim, we went back early Sunday afternoon hoping for drinks and a lite lunch. We stepped up to the podium and my partner went to use the bathroom. Two of the wait staff were at the bar and turned their backs to me and the third made brief eye contact then walked into the kitchen. When my partner returned from the bathroom some minutes later we stood there for a bit more, the server came back out of the kitchen and continued towards the bar. Needless to say, we turned around and walked out…maybe they were short staffed. I’ve worked in various positions in the service industry before and I know this…communication is key! you must acknowledge that a customer has entered the establishment and they are welcomed.
A nice option in the Saugatuck area for eating/drinking inside or outside. They make everything they sell and the prices are reasonable for both food and drink. We've been multiple times over the past couple years and have enjoyed it.
Off the beaten path brewery option with very light and airy feel, great choices in decor and music. There are lights at each table to indicate when you need service which is awesome because you are helped right away when you need it. The beer is good with plenty of varieties, and the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend checking it out if in the area.
Hubby and I each ordered a half Green Monster salad with house made vegan ranch dressing and we shared the Portland Tofu Reuben. The salad veggies were so fresh that it seemed they were just picked that day, and the ranch dressing was amazing. The reuben was tasty and the ingredients were well balanced (flavorful rye, tangy dressing, and hearty kraut). The tofu was rather bland though, and while it didnt detract it also didnt add to the flavor combo. The beer selection was great, and the best one in my flight was vegan.
