I’ve dined at Michelin starred restaurants throughout the world and this is one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had in Michigan. The food is amazing and service was impeccable. The scallop, lamb lollipop, and seared foie gras were my favorite dishes but the entire tasting menu was delicious.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Michigan period. The service is 5 star the food is 5 star the ambiance is 5 star. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. You cannot go wrong with any food selection. but our personal favorite is the risotto and scallops. The staff was super attentive. Botton line well worth the price tag.

Food wasnt great for the price in my opinion, very odd combinations. Lamb was by far the best just not much for the price. The steak was cooked well but the dish itself was a 3/10. There are many places in Saugatuck that I would go to again before here.

We dined here for New Year’s Eve and what an incredible experience. We went with the chefs selection and were not disappointed for one minute. So scrumptious and flavorful with such attention to detail. This was our first visit but won’t be our last.
We had an absolutely wonderful meal, and enjoyed ourselves very much. It was our anniversary, and it was also New Year's Eve. We had the multi course tasting menu. Every course was at least very good. When there was a tiny problem with one course, they made up for it with a little extra in the next course. I did wonder why they would feature potatoes in more than one course. However, both preparation's for the potatoes were superb. The service was generally very attentive, and we appreciated it that the silverware was ready for the next course, instead of having to ask. At one point we did wait longer than expected for a refill of our tea. The ambience was pleasant, if not exactly what you would call elegant. I would recommend this place enthusiastically. I wish there were some way to give it 4.9 stars instead of having to choose between four or five.

Our dinner at Coast 236 was incredible. The staff was kind and accommodating. My wife didn't want dessert and they allowed us to sub in a bottle of wine. When we reserved our table I requested a table with a lot of light, a pet peave of my wife, and they accommodated us. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and they took great care to make sure sound was controlled with wall and ceiling buffers. We both ordered the price fix menu. The pork belly blew both of us away. Additionally the carbonated pear dessert was unique and very impressive. Overall this was one of our favorite meals we've had in a long time.

Amazing service, outstanding food and wine. Ambiance was nice. There private tables are very cozy and quiet. The back room gets a little loud and has a lot of table in it. However they went out of there way to accomadte us. We will def be back

This is our second time dining at Coast 236. The food was exceptional, the portions were great, and the cocktails yummy. The first trip in we did the tasting menu and weren't fans. Glad we came back for a second time. Server was efficient and did a great job, just wasn't too friendly, didn't detract from the experience. Will be back.
The restaurant feels like I'm in an art gallery, but in a good way. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing- ordered a few different dishes to share with the table, and loved all three (beef tenderloin, scallops and tuna crudo) will definitely be back!
Our Dinners were fabulous. We had scallops and salmon. Dessert was Lemom Creme Brûlée. Our server Brandon was knowledgeable and most helpful. The ambience was calm and peaceful; delightful.

I am old and found it particularly hard to navigate their system to treat my wife to a meal for our 45th wedding anniversary. I tried, she tried and we even walked by the place a number of times in hope of making contact with a human. No luck. The place looks great. The menu and reviews looked spectacular. Alas it would appear that if you are old and not tech savvy you may well have to make dinner plans at one of the many other fine restaurants when in town for Vacation! As Always, Enjoy!
