At lunchtime, the place wasn't too crowded; there were a few guests, some just having drinks. The waitress was attentive, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The selection of beer and wine is decent! If you need a solid lunch with down-to-earth food and don't mind a bit of commotion, this is a good place to go.“

The Mediterranean couscous salad and Brussel kale Caesar are beyond delicious. The Maui sandwich was superb. Today my hubby got the burger and said it was the best burger he has ever eaten. The wait staff were professional, friendly, and attentive each time we dined there. This is a must try in Saugatuck. In a sea of restaurants serving the same tired menus, Pumpernickels is unique and delicious.“
