Prices were high, but makes sense considering they're on the water. Cool restaurant with good food. I don't do seafood, but the chicken tenders and bbq sauce were great. Staff seemed cool. I'm a local, been to almost every restaurant in town. This one's definitely top 5 in my opinion.

We were vacationing here and stopped for dinner. It totally exceeded our expectations, we got chips & queso, Mahi tacos, chicken tender platter, and the lake perch dinner, all were phenomenal! Homemade ranch and tartar sauce. The chicken tenders fell right apart. The tacos were so fresh. Drinks were good. Fun music/rooftop bar on the water. We sat by the entrance so it was a little crowded and loud as it got busier but not bad. Service was very fast and efficient, if we are in the area again we will definitely be coming back. SO good!

Great food and very good service. We got the Aha Tuna Poke for the appetizer, and Mahi & Shrimp Tqcos w/ a margarita pizza for the main course. It was all delicious and I highly recommend. The patio seating is opened in the late spring early summer time— we didn’t get a chance to sit outside since it was still cold but the seating looks very nice. I recommend 👍

I had the Salmon with Brussel Sprouts, and my husband had the Ribs. Food was pretty good, but you don't get a salad with entrees. The atmosphere was nice, and it's right on the water with a nice view. Our waitress was very attentive and refilled my Coke and our water regularly. I'd eat here again and recommend this establishment.

We were hoping for a nice dinner with water views. We got the water views but the dinner was awful. The queso was cold, the chips were decent. My blackened mahi sandwich had no blackened seasoning and was tasteless fish on a bun. My husband’s crab cakes were more like stuffing cakes with very little crab and no flavor. My mother in law got the Cesar salad which was bagged salad mix and dried out chicken breast. My father in laws perch was by far the best looking dish. Might be a decent place to grab a drink on the water but if you’re looking for dinner in Saugatuck I would go elsewhere.

Bad crab cakes, wife is vomiting nonstop. After eating less than half the sandwich she said it didn’t taste right. I took a bite and could tell it was off. 30 minutes after leaving she became violently sick.
Fun place right on the water. Great atmosphere. Beer was ice cold!

Well after years of this being our favorite little spot, we will never return. The owner and friends were in tonight. Backed up the bar, their butts were in our face, bumping our table while we were trying to eat. When we complained to the hostess, food runner/perhaps manager and our server we were told it was the owner and they couldn't do anything about it. We weren't the only ones complaining, moving. Our server told us we could move and then the hostess scolded us that we moved. It says a lot when the owner is not self-aware on how their guests are treating the other guests. It also says a lot when the wait staff is afraid to say something. Long time guest of the Barge, couldn't wait for their season to begin, refer a lot of our guests. No more. Our server was amazing and we left a generous tip for her and let her know, we will never be back. Very unpleasant experience. I feel bad for the staff that work there.

Disappointing as I found rust under the lid of the cheese shaker. Told them they replaced it, but at that point my appetite was gone.
