Last time We were in town, this place was closed. Next time We visited, it was open and We wanted to see how good this little Cheese Shack was. The Grilled Cheese was Awesome! Recommend trying Em out. They have all kinds of combinations. So Yummy.

The Grilled Cheese Shack is a seasonal restaurant located in a little kiosk close to downtown. They have a decent selection of grilled cheese sandwiches and melts to choose from, or you can build your own. I ordered the avocado melt. It was ready in a few minutes, and I was able to enjoy it under the umbrella of one of the tables. The sandwich tasted great despite being a bit light on the toppings, but I was satisfied with it and the chips that came with it. It’s a cute little place serving up quick meals in an al fresco setting, and it does a decent job of it.

While the staff were very friendly, my grilled cheese was not good. It was very burnt. This is after the fact that we waited 55 minutes for 3 grilled cheeses. The staff did give us a heads up that it would be about a 45 minute wait before we ordered, but it still seemed absurd to wait that long for grilled cheese. It was also very overpriced for what it was. They did refund me for my grilled cheese and had excellent customer service. Overall I'm not sure I would return. It's just not worth it for the price.

Cutest little grilled cheese shack! Was the perfect spot for dinner, such a nice atmosphere and right next to the water ♥️ Ate my grilled cheese too fast to take a picture, but the turkey pepper jack and peppers grilled was amazing!!
