I tried a beef pastie for the first time from Penny's. What a cute diner-style restaurant. They have deli counter with lots of sandwich options but you can also sit down and dine in. We got a beef pastie to go. There were also many yummy looking desserts in the dessert case. If you're in the area or passing through to see the soo locks, definitely check out Penny's! I wish I had had more time to try one of their sandwiches because they looked really good.
Penny's is not just great coffee and sandwiches! They have a fabulous, full breakfast, served all day. They have delightful baked breads, sweet treats with a great menu. Hometown atmosphere, simple decor. You will meet new friends!
We had a great experience at Penny’s Kitchen yesterday. Originally we had planned to get breakfast at another establishment but the wait was too long. We ended up at Penny’s by accident, but it was definitely meant to be. We were seated immediately, the food was brought out quickly and was very good.
