Very pricey.
Great experience. Food was very good and dessert was over the top. We do eat at fine dining restaurants. Gelato and blueberry dessert were the best we hsd.Dont change a thing we'll visit again.
This new, chef-driven restaurant is not to be missed. Young guy, 32, just starting his own place. The menu is interesting with an excellent price point. Good selection of wines with regular happy hours. The background music is perfect for a fine dining experience. Do not let the very nondescript exterior fool or dissuade you. It's in an older shopping center area and we almost passed it by. Worth the stop. My husband and I live in Australia. We've traveled all over the world. We've rarely had a better Italian dinner!
Went here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great and so was the food. Will definitely be going back! I also got a free tiramisu dessert for my birthday.
Had an awesome dinner. Rib Eye was cooked perfect and tender.
Chicken parm handheld was delicious, fries were generous. Service was great - server was attentive to our table. We were dining during lunch, group of 4.
Salmon was to die for! Also loved the rolls, and the tiramisu! Great place for a quiet birthday dinner with friends.
Traveling through town and this place was recommended by our hotel. Shouldn't have listened. Tried to get garden salad with ranch dressing. I think all they had was salad with their house dressing that I didn't want. The salad tasted like they tried to wash the house dressing off and then serve it. Tasted like crap. We both had the shrimp scampi. The noodles were hard and the shrimp was cool. Not a good experience.

When I first walked into this restaurant, I was immediately jarred by the lighting in which I could pretty much see every sign of aging on the small group of people on the opposite side of the dining area. For a place that you would think would be a “fine dining” establishment with those premium price points, it really lacks in the department of atmosphere. Tiny old restaurant booths too close together, drab color scheme, and lighting that you could easily perform minor surgery in, but at least I had a little vase with some fake flowers in the window to help my mood. Already unimpressed, I thought that maybe the food would be worth it. Boy, was I wrong. For a small payment of near 200 dollars for a couple of people, you can experience the least memorable food that immediately says you should have just stayed home and made it yourself. The mildly flavored steak, okay spaghetti, and dry meatballs really made me feel like I could have probably driven to the nearest Denny’s and have had a better fine dining experience, while still probably saving money. The 12 dollar dessert and the 4 dollar fries were the only menu items I think were worth the price point. The service was also amazing. However, dessert and good service doesn’t make me want to pretend any of my experience here was worth the price of a car insurance payment. Just go downtown, get a burger and imagine it’s like eating at a fancy Chicago restaurant.

Food was fantastic, but the portions were small for the price. Meal does not include side salad, and shockingly for an Italian eatery - no breadsticks.
If the main course is going to be on the lighter side, there should be sides that compliment it to round out the meal. What was offered versus what was charged left a clear message that the goal here was to offer as little as possible for the highest price. That won't work in the Sault, and I'd imagine they won't be around to see another winter before the doors are closed again.

Was nice of them to give me a free coke to wash down the dry meatball. Service was good. The rest was pretty bad. Never even got rolls.

We visited on Saturday night to see this place for ourselves, and honestly the reviews on here have hit the nail on the head.
He ordered the Italian beef sandwich with fries, I ordered the Bermonte and added asparagus and shrimp. We waited a fairly long time for our food (and drinks), and agreed with the reviews that said a bread should be offered. A nice bread with olive oil, parmesan, and cracked pepper was something we longed for to munch on. To our surprise, they brought a basket with two small but warm rolls to us with butter! We split them open and realized the rolls were mainly crust. My fiancé stated "this reminds me of the first time I ever tried to bake", and while it was nice to have while waiting, left a lot of room for improvement in either the recipe or its execution.
The drinks list was okay, it was unclear what non-alcoholic drinks were offered and I was disappointed to see the only wine that looked good to me was bottle only as someone who enjoys sweet wines. Our waiter was kind enough to let me sample another, but was very bitter and sour in taste. Our waiter did provide a refill on my soda one time, but failed to ask my fiancé if he wanted another drink until I made it painstakingly clear that he was empty. The soda lacked carbonation and almost tasted flat like they were pouring out of old 2-liter bottles or something. We received water once at the very beginning but were unable to get a refill at any point during our visit. He opted to not order another because of how hard it was to get another drink and said he really just wanted to be considered and at least asked if he needed anything.
The entrees were the worst part of this visit. My food was incredibly bland, it needed a lot more of everything. When trying to add at least the salt and pepper offered on the table, the salt shakers were empty, which should have been a telling sign. After adding HEFTY amounts of what I had to work with, mine was good enough to finish. The shrimp and asparagus was good, but I was shocked that we were charged $4 for one stalk of asparagus to be added. There was barely any in the pasta and what did exist was cut very small. I received 5 good sized shrimp for $5 and felt that was a fair charge. If they added more lemon juice, parmesan cheese, cracked black pepper, salt, and a smidge more parsley- this dish could be a homerun. The fresh pasta was noticeable and enjoyable.
His Italian Beef was so terribly salty that he started feeling sick while eating and had to stop, with even the au jus being bland in taste. The fries had no salt on them which made them hard to get through though it did kind of help to dampen the saltiness of the sandwich.
As I stated above, the service was lacking. There were about 4-5 people that we noticed working in front of house staff, and noticed a fair amount of standing around when we needed help and were very obviously looking around and trying to get assistance for things like refills and our check.
As a former front of house restaurant manager of 10 years, the lack of service was very concerning and one of the worst parts of our experience. I shouldn't have to try to get refills from the bar when I'm seated at a table or have to flag another server down in order to get our check.
The atmosphere we felt was like a diner and also that they had started decorating but unfinished. It was very loud in there and felt like we were at a subway terminal or airport due to the acoustics and lack of music or anything to set a nice mood.
Overall, we feel that there is a lot of room for improvement but it all lies in the seasonings and would try here again. For the prices being charged, you've gotta be able to nail the flavor palette and while the ingredients were quality, the lack of seasoning almost completely destroyed the dish quality overall. His was unsavable because it was in excess, whereas mine was somewhat savable becaus

The food and service/staff are amazing! My only advice was the atmosphere has lots of opportunity for improvement. The lights are too bright and the color temperature of the bulbs are too cool. Also could use a table cloth, and the booths feel a little bit like a diner/ fast food. I really like what they’ve done with the bar and kitchen though

First time visit and the food was really good! These are all meant to be helpful suggestions, so hopefully they will be taken as such. A nice touch would be fresh bread with your dinners, which seems to be the standard at most Italian restaurants, as well as steakhouses. Also recommend offering fresh Parmesan. The atmosphere needs a little work, IMO. It’s very bright, almost too bright, and softer lighting could really enhance the dining experience. The acoustics are really not great, and it was really loud in the dining room, which took away from the experience. Seemed like everyone as shouting to try and have a conversation LOL. Perhaps some more things on the walls to soak up some of the noise will help, or spread out some of the booths. For the price of the entrees, please consider adding a salad, soup, or side. The entrees were great, but for $30, it would be nice to offer bread, and a salad, side, or soup. Service was excellent! We will be back and hope to see some enhancements to make it even better! Good luck!
