Exceptional fresh home made baked goods. Huge fan! Always fresh. Always perfect. So many delicious items. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth driving across town for us! The only drawback is the Shelby location has short hours. Rochester location is open longer.
We arrived in Detroit for a wedding yesterday and had today to look around. We wanted to find a bagel place for breakfast and came across Big Apple Bagels. They had a wide variety of flavours and when I asked if they have a cappuccino, the friendly lady behind the till said she can make me one. This place reminds me of a grandmother's home. It feels welcoming and the staff are friendly. I had the creme caramel which was fantastic. However, the white mocha was a miss for us. I pretty much had all the bagels here and never had any issues with them. I always buy a bunch and then freeze them for months. They come out great every time! The Plain and Honey Cream Cheese are my go-to and regulars that I get. My mom is obsessed with the Lox & Cream Cheese sandwich.
