THEY DONT HAVE RANCH. I can’t do half stars but I give 4.5. I’ve never been here before so I didn’t expect that from a chicken place. The menu says it comes with a slice of bread so expect bread not toast. I believe I got a lite mild, mild and hot. The spice levels are accurate. As far as I know, they offer honey and ketchup, the ketchup is Dave’s brand and it’s kinda sweet. COME WITH FULLY HEALED LIPS if you are eating spice. They’re running a scratcher for a prize and I got “better luck next time” but my girl won a top loaded shake but already had one so she gave it to me I got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch topped vanilla shake it was good. The Mac and cheese was good too. It was mildly packed for a Sunday at 7 pm but idk how busy this place is. They still got our food out fast.

To start off the place was clean and service was very nice. The fries were great and everything was freshly made. Chicken was tender but the spices are really not what I expected. It almost has a slight curry undertone which did not complement the rest of the flavors. Not a fan at all of the spice. In the sandwich, it is less detectable but on the chicken bites it was way too much. The gritty texture of the dry rub was also a turn off.

Best Chicken Sandwich I have ever had! The Sliders are amazing! The Chicken is crispy, juicy and melts in your mouth. The seasoning, and sauce are on point. Life changer eatin here

I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype!
Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work.
Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her!
Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation.
Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. It was still good though.

Foods nasty anyone who thinks their food is worth eating is probably someone who throws a frozen pizza in the oven and thinks they can cook. What a waste of a location in Davenport Iowa. Close the place down already
