Sometimes when you go back to childhood haunts, there is usually something missing. The food isnt as good, the service has given way to complacency...it rarely meets the expectations of your youth. I can say Erma's is just as good if not better than when I used to frequent it in the mid 90's. Truly an institution and a gem.
The coconut cream pie custard is the best flavor they have had since 1942! We come about every couple weeks or so, depending on the special flavors. However we made it twice this week because COCONUT CREAM PIE. I will say it again, best flavor ever! I love it! 10/5 stars!
Great place for a sweet treat. The ice cream and frozen custard are both delicious, and there are plenty of flavors, toppings, and mix-in options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and it was hard to decide what to order because there were so many good choices. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.
