Black river has always been one of my favorite places to eat but my last visit was disappointing. They took a lot of good things off the menu which broke my heart. They use to have great coleslaw but not any more and the perch was rubbery. This is such a great place to sit and watch people and the river hope it gets back to its former glory.
Honestly…. The food is great. The location is nice being it’s closer to the walk to the water. But I’ve been here a handful of times and the food takes FOREVER. If it’s busy, plan on waiting 45 minutes to an hour for your food. And if it’s not “busy”, I’m talking only a couple tables…. It’s still probably a half hour wait.
I had a great experience at BRT. My buddy and I stopped in for dinner and everything was great. The food was tasty, our servers were great and the atmosphere was very inviting. I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in town.
