If you're anywhere near Southhaven Michigan, you have to stop in at the Golden Brown bakery on Phoenix Street. Either get there early for the best selection, or call ahead and they will put your favorite delicacy aside. Don't leave town without purchasing one of their cheese coffee cakes!
This place is a childhood favorite of mine when vacationing in South Haven. As an adult, I still love it, and the variety of bakery goods is phenomenal. They have just about every cookie/pastry known to man, and they're all so pretty! And the breakfast offerings are great as well! There will never be a visit to South Haven without a visit to The Golden Brown!

This place is awesome!! The food was awesome, the ambience was nice and easy felt like being home on a Saturday morning. The ladies running it were great, and kind. The most important detail about this place is the early morning donuts and pastries they offer!!
