Old school Italian restaurant. Pizza was quite good as was were the salad and bread sticks. Menu was fairly diverse with a decent number of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Service was very good and the atmosphere eclectic and interesting.

Very strange and unimpressive pizza. What you might expect someone to make if they played a game of telephone and the first person gave a description of school cafeteria pizza. Underbaked. A margarita pizza with no sauce? Too much cheese. Over an hour turn around.

We were hoping we might be lucky enough to have dinner at Maria's while in town this weekend. I had prepared myself that if the outdoor seating area were full, we would have to get ours to-go and enjoy it in the park since we had our fur babies. To our surprise, there was no one sitting outside, and they graciously welcomed us. Thanks again for your hospitality! You made our evening! The food and service was wonderful!

Great restaurant that my family and I have patronized for years! The cheesy bread is outstanding, the marinara sauce is homemade and the best around, and the baked cheese tortellini is simply delicious! Please visit if you happen to find yourself in South Haven!

My dental hygienist just got back from a trip to South Haven just as we were getting ready to head that way so I asked her what she recommended and Maria's was at the TOP of her list. Obviously we HAD to stop. We were NOT disappointed! Our server was very nice and did an ok job. A little slow, but not anything bad. The food was INCREDIBLE! Like roll your eyes back in your head kinda good. My husband got the open faced meatball sub. I got spaghetti. And our daughter got the stuffed shells. My husband and I came home with an entire second meals worth of leftovers. And the price was very reasonable. It was only $50 for the three of us. My favorite part was how QUIET the restaurant was. I have sensory issues and crowd noises/restaurant noises can be very painful for me. There was very little of that here. A little bit of noise from the kitchen, but hardly any crowd noises. (It was also 2pm on a Saturday. So it wasn't very crowded.) Which is JUST what I needed after strolling the Center Street shops. We will definitely be coming back to Maria's if we visit South Haven again!

The food was very underwhelming and lacking any real flavor. It reminded me of a microwaveable meal. They charge $6 to add “chicken” to your pasta. No breast or anything of quality, it was the smallest pieces of what looked like pre-packaged chicken.
We were very disappointed. The quality does not match the prices at all.

We were overcharged by over $100, and when we asked to see the breakdown of our bill, the cashier was defensive and reluctant to give it to us. When she finally showed us the receipt, we were charged for multiple meals that we did not order. The cashier was rude, unpleasant, and no apology was given. We used to be regular customers, but we will NEVER go back.

Wow... the food was excellent! It was busy so we sat outside, which wasn't bad, but the service is probably better if you're inside. The toasted ravioli was great, the pizza was good and the Palmero was excellent. Great flavors and preparation all around 🔥 would definitely recommend and will return.
