I haven't been there in a while, but wanted to chime with 'memories,' as it's always been an awesome lil store, which I enjoyed when I was living in the area 25 yeas ago. Before y'all moved in, back in the 70s, our cottage was on Oak Ct., my friends and I were consuming untold amounts of sugar out of there, mainlining Pixy Stix, Whatchamacallit's, Push Up's and RC. Awesome selection, only rivaled back then by the old neighborhood confectionery...
For $7 per dog, I kind of assumed the hot dogs would be a tad better. The hot dog itself was pretty good quality. I’ve never seen a chili cheese dog with broken up cold sandwich cheese on it..the Chicago dog was good, minus the sad tomato slices on top. For the price and quality I am not sure if I’d eat here again.
happy, helpful staff. great sandwiches. a little bit of anything you want or need for beach day, camping, boating or general vacationing. homemade sweets, ice cream, local snacks at an average price!
