3.33/5 The Corner Social is a cute cafe with something for everybody on its menu. I was impressed with the variety of options and enjoyed my coffee. Ended up being disappointed when I opened up my sandwich at home because I was given the wrong order and unfortunately, I don't eat pork. I was supposed to get turkey instead. Please make sure you double check how orders are being packaged.

Stopped in for coffee - they have an excellent selection of coffee and specialty coffee drinks! I had an iced Nutella Latte and it was perfect. It's got a good balance of good espresso flavor, not burnt at all, and it's sweet, but not too sweet. They had several dairy free milk options. The prices were pretty good! For two large lattes and two baked goods, it was $20 before tip. The staff were very friendly, and got my drinks made quickly despite being busy. I'll definitely be stopping in to try some of their sandwiches next time I'm in town - they had some very tasty sounding options.

A charming café in the center of South Lyon. The ladies that worked there were all very friendly and helpful. I had a sandwich and a coffee. The food was made to order and the coffee was hot and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit!

Super cute place for sandwiches and soups. Decent coffee selection and Guernsey ice cream by the scoop. Limited inside seating, but they do have a covered patio.

It's very important for me to support local businesses whenever possible but I am mildly irritated at whomever is managing the point of sale system. I received a Corner Social gift card recently and when I attempted to use it, the cashier said the POS was not accepting gift cards because it's not set up yet due to a change.
I understand there's a lag time for changing systems but that needs to be made clear before a customer orders. I essentially have a useless (at the moment) gift card in my wallet. I'm just grateful it was a drink for me and not a whole assortment of food and drinks with my family.

I’ve been here 3 times before with friends. It was good service then. I decided to bring my husband for the first time. And this type of disrespectful service don’t deserve my money nor my time. My husband was appalled at the service, the ridiculous price and the manager behavior.
Horrible horrible place to go. Definitely if you don’t look or act like the people there. Definitely didn’t feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. We watched them give good service to the people ahead of us and behind us. We were discriminated against the moment we walked in. Standing in line one server walked right over me without saying excuse me. Poor manors. Spent $40+ on 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks to get a disrespectful server with an attitude. When she brung our drinks to the table she basically threw my drink at me. Pushed my straw back into my drink. Her hand almost went in my drink. My husband asked for a straw. She rolled her eyes walked away to grab the straw. Comes back and throw my husband’s straw at him on the table. My husband looked at me because the service was disgusting. At that point we got up and asked for a refund. When we walked to the counter they were messing around. Mind you we still haven’t received our food. The manager wasn’t very good at managing since her attitude sucked. Her attitude and demeanor was just as worse as the children working. She asked why I wanted a refund and I told her horrible disrespectful service. She said fair enough and left it at that. She also left it for the child on the register to handle. No apologies for the disrespect. Just a fair enough as if she knows how they treat people is wrong. This was one of the worse services I received in a long time. They expect you to tip when you order but get horrible service.

Wheelchair accessibility: One door goes right in from the sidewalk by street light the other is on the side of the building and has a ramp once you get in.
