Bigalora in Southfield nails it. Wood-fired pizzas with bold flavor, house-made pasta that's perfectly balanced, and a warm, upscale vibe. The wait staff is phenomenal and knows the menu inside out, giving stellar recommendations every time.

It was my first time visiting this establishment that is just a three walk from my residence. My family visits often as my daughter loves pizza. We had a good time on her birthday during our visit. The food was delicious, the service was great, and friendly staff.

We recently moved our office, and Bigalora is literally right next door—when I look out from the fourth floor, it’s right there. Super convenient to just walk over after work or during lunch.

My buddy and I meet up on Mondays at different spots, and since I had just gotten back from two weeks in North Carolina, I asked him where we were meeting. He said his office air wasn’t working and he was working from home, so he suggested Bigalora. I was down.

I ordered a Ketel One on the rocks and the chicken Parmesan. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. However, I felt like the vodka was seriously overpriced. While I get that drinks can be a little marked up, it felt excessive.

Overall, great food, great location (especially if you work nearby), and a solid place to meet up—but just be ready for a bit of sticker shock if you’re ordering alcohol.

Enjoyed a awesome dinner. Service was great as always. Love to stop by when we visit Southfield!!

Have eaten at Biga since they opened. Used to LOVE the simple, but oh so delicious arugula salad. Tonight, it barely had any cheese. That's what makes the salad so good!!!! And $9 for a little arugula is def not worth it.
Update: Ordered two minnestroni soups because they didn't offer a quart. $8 for about a cup of soup. Ridulous.

Food and service were excellent and we had a large group of about 15 co-workers for them to serve family style.

Food quality has gone down as has the service. Order one dessert for the table to share, left after 20 minutes. Although I had paid for the dessert we left before it ever made it to the table. On the positive side the smoked chicken wings were well prepared.

Disappointing. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs and calamari appetizer. Meatball was bone dry and spaghetti sauce was bland. Calamari was soggy.

We ordered calamari, it was very salty. The pizza was super doughy. The eggplant parm was mushy. The customer service was great as well as the atmosphere.

Overall, a decent Italian Cucina. Had lunch with colleagues, and everyone rated pizza over pasta.
