I hope they’re not closed permanently. They have the best seared salmon salad. The lobster bisque fries and wings (when wanting comfort food) also good. Nice down home comfortable atmosphere with that Nawlins bourbon street feel. Good friendly service!

The food and cocktails were great too! I sat upstairs on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon and enjoyed listening to the band playing jazz music as I had cocktails.

Unexpectedly good. The short ribs were so tender. The lamb chops.. omg. Best glaze in a long time. Was glad they had a TV to watch the game in there full bar. Limited dessert menu but I highly recommend the black owned restaurant .Kid-friendliness: Great experience for the little ones

Let me start by saying the 1 star does not mean the food was bad. Whomever the cook is, hands down know what they are doing. The 1 star is for customer service. I came to this location for an event that they were not prepared for and thought it was a nice place until the owner's wife (at the time did not know) showed her TRUE self. When I say she lack customer service I truly mean it. She talk to people like you are a child. When you ask her for something she make it seem like you are getting on her nerves. Please don't ask for second. Here where I draw the line and will not return, when you get done eating and receive your receipt at this location they ADD a gratuity to what they want YOU to pay, not what the standard is (I have no problem tipping when the service is GOOD). They add a credit card FEE to people who pay by cash (better check your receipt). To add these additional FEES is unacceptable when the service is horrible.

Nice little Neighborhood Gathering Place. Good Food. Service is often slow. They could use more staff, also the staff could be more courteous.Entertainment has been excellent.

The food looked amazing and the waitstaff seemed to do a good job and it was a nice atmosphere but they forgot about us and NEVER came back. They gave us water and proceeded to take care of the big tables while my girlfriend and I starved. They continually passed us all night with not one person on the waitstaff asking if we were ok or ready to order.

We visited Jay Bird for a friends Birthday party. We started the night off with their signature drink the "Jay Bird" which looks pretty and tastes great we subbed out the Ciroc for Tito's for our preference. We also got the steak bites for our appetizer which came with peppers and onions (nice touch) the sauce it comes with is A1. We wanted their Lobster Bisque Fries but the sauce for them wasn't done yet so that was a disappointment. My husband got the lamb chops they were good and I got the turkey chops fried. Our sides were mac and cheese, greens, and a baked sweet potato. They give you 1/2 a sweet potato, I was fine with that because their was plenty of other food. We ordered Green Tea drinks and a Fruity cocktail that was better than the Jay Bird to me. Overall we'd come here again. The service was okay she did a great job to have a large party. They also have a live band on Wednesdays the band was great!! They let us know they have a DJ on other nights. Cool place for a date night. Sorry for only the one picture I was hungry.
