This neighborhood gathering spot soars. It is a place where a single woman could stop and have a bite to eat and a drink alone in comfort. At the same time it is place for an extemporaneous date night. The price point is good. The food is excellent, and the owners are outstanding!
Nestled close to I-696, Jay Birds is a surprisingly delightful place. We ordered a variety of items (Angus burger, salmon sliders, potstickers and steak points) and all were fantastic. Portions were appropriate and the cups were always full of water. I have to say these were some of the best French Fries I have ever had, and I have had a lot of lousy fries. The music was also very good- very motown and 80s fun dance music. Our server, Roscoe, was upbeat and prompt with service....
This was my first visit to Jay Birds Bar and Grille. It turns out that this is a little hidden gem. First, the owners and staff were very friendly and engaging. The place was clean and comfortable with a outdoor patio area. The food and adult beverages were absolutely delicious and served in a timely manner.
