“They are a cool group. My daughter worked there 30 years ago and had a great time. When she is in town, she picks up their Greek salad dressing -about 8 bottles and several pasta salads. I pick up once in a while their top notch Greek salad.”

“I came in today to order my favorite sandwich the maplehouse and like always. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite well oriented. Especially the young man manager. I remember the visit I had with my friend last week when a rude and very disrespectful customer came in and started getting upset with the manager taking his order. All the manager did was ask him what could he get for him after greeting him into the building. And the guy just lost it. The manager was trying to calm the guys down and get him to leave but he was too hot headed and refused. He cursed at the manager and left outside the building. He returned and told the manager that he wouldn't treat me and my friend that way because we were white. I as well as my friend were appalled and offended that he would even say something so silly and make the interaction a racial issue when indeed it wasn't. As me and my friend were about to leave the manger said to the guy he would call the police if he doesn't leave because he's scaring the customers with the negativity. So the guy decided to leave once and for all. Before I left I apologize to the young manager that he had to deal with someone like that and to not let one bad encounter ruin his day. He was doing a great job and to keep it up.”

“Food, service, and atmosphere change, depending on season and location. Some bright spots...the new orange scone is way better that the old one, tender and tart. The Italiano is fabulous. Still some changes needed but getting there.”

“Tried this place for the first time today! Rider was my server and he was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable funny and sweet. Genuinely had such a good time just being in his presence and he was very attentive! Tried the flaming fig, although without the jam. Didn't personally find it too spicy without the jam, although my friend found it slightly spicy with the jam. Either way it was the most delicious grilled cheese ever. Great wine selection, and don't be afraid to try the espresso drink made with blood orange soda, it was very good! On the store side of things, there was a great selection of product and the service was great. Will definitely tell as many people as possible about this place and will come again!”

“The food here is great. This was our 1st time here. We were here all the way from Wisconsin for an event and i asked who got the best soul food in town and was told to stop by Cornbread. Amazing food, and service, and the place was clean. The Staff went above the call of duty. Ms. Donya if you see this, you are a JEWEL! This lady was right on time with everything. We visited the restaurant on Friday upon arrival to Michigan and was the first customers on Sunday 11:30AM as we were leaving from Michigan to return home. Go here, you will not be disappointed. The PRICE IS RIGHT.....and the Staff is BRIGHT!”

Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.”

“This pizza was seriously impressive! The cheese was melted perfectly, and the vodka sauce added so much flavor to every bite. The crust had a beautiful roasted finish, topped with parmesan and a bright lemony vinaigrette that made the whole dish stand out. Everything came together so well, from the toppings to the balance of flavors. It’s the kind of pizza you keep thinking about after the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again.”

“I had such a great experience at Aurora, and Alana made it even better. She was so sweet, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we sat down. She checked on us at the perfect times, made sure everything came out right, and had such a positive attitude throughout the whole service. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. I would definitely come back and ask for Alana again!”

The brisket tacos - Braised & Confused just overjoyed my taste buds. The pork taco -Korean Bbq was great. Fun place. Enjoyed some house margaritas and chips with guacamole dip. Staff were awesome, kept things lively. Best tacos in Royal Oak !”
