Ordered “super” corned beef sandwich on grilled rye with mustard and swiss; “super” corned beef on onion roll with provolone and coleslaw; cup of chilli; fries; and cake slice. Paid about $65. Sandwiches were fresh, hot, and moist. Fries were lukewarm but well seasoned and potato cut. Cake was moist and tasty. Atmosphere was quiet. Mostly a carryout vibe though there is ample seating for self service dine in. Front line staff were nice and seemed to appreciate their jobs....
Food ready upon arrival . Pleasant cashier , but overwhelmed. Worked solo others were in the back. Price mediocre . Got a Dinty more on wheat with extra dressing, lemon pound cake and sweet potato pie.
Stopped here to get hubby a sandwich and then drop it off to him at work. They clearly labeled each sandwich, which I appreciate. Because I had to buy me a sandwich too! Can’t go to Lou’s just for him. I don’t live close by, dropped his sandwich to him at work and then drove home. Found out they labeled the sandwiches incorrectly. So here I am warming up leftovers for my lunch. Thanks Lou’s
