We are from Chicago I went out to escanaba to buy a car so we swung through because we heard they had great food here. We moved to Menominee Michigan about a year and a half ago and we have yet to really find any good places to eat. I don't think that people out here believe in salt and pepper LOL very bland but the service the atmosphere and the way we were greeted and treated here was above and beyond and we will definitely be back it was such a great time. I have been to R place multiple times on various days. You can count on great service and a friendly staff. Friday night fish is great, my favorite is the yellow perch. You can grab a drink and the bar and wait for a table, or eat right at the bar. This past weekend we went for ribs, they were fall off the bone and the pasta so flavorful. Great place for dinner and drinks!
