I was in town visiting my in-laws and the whole family gathered at The Front Porch for ice cream. It’s a cute little shop with about 2-3 tables inside and a huge, lovely front porch with swings, tables, and benches. The ice cream was delicious and FULL of fudge pieces (I got Harbor Island Fudge) and my sugar cone was fresh and crunchy.

Delicious icecream
Delicious, though we were wishing we had wet wipes because it quickly melted all over our hands. Totally worth it though. Outdoor seating was really nice and cleaner than I would have expected it to be.
Front Porch serves delicious homemade ice cream with unique flavors, including award-winning options. This little ice cream store is affiliated with Sweet Temptations in Grand Haven and offers a great selection of flavors. While there is no real indoor seating, a small patio is available for nicer weather. The waffle cones are always fresh and come with a surprise at the end. Though gluten-free options are limited, the fast and friendly service, along with the polite staff who have wonderful attitudes, makes it a great stop, especially after a day at the beach. This beloved spot is a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and is a great place to bring the whole family.
