“I order fairly regularly the tacos and chips and dips. All have been quite flavorful and delicious. I've been less impressed by the bowls and burritos as in general all can be overpowered by sauces. Great rewards program gives discounts and points often. The interior is fun but this store is a bit dark on the interior making it hard to read menus. Service is friendly and standard for service these days. Easy online ordering and pickup. Overall great if your looking for more American-styled Mexican food with punchy flavors.“

“Decided on Mexican food to take to a gathering for six people. (My turn to buy.) Decided on El Taco Dojo. Ordered Dojo wraps, taco combos, rice, corn, egg rolls, and EVERYTHING was there when I picked it up, and EVERYTHING was delicious! I will be ordering again from El Taco Dojo, quite often! “Stopped in for a quick easy dinner for my finance and myself, we got the Meatloaf and the “KFC” Bowl and WOW, the meatloaf is so insanely good and the bowl is also delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the owner/staff are so warm, welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Don’t sleep on this little restaurant!!“

“We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“
