This visit was during a vacation. We were very surprised that this quaint little place had such incredible pizza and sandwiches. The owner and other staff were very accommodating. We really enjoyed this visit.
I may be biased as this is my childhood pizza place, but this is, in fact, the best pizza place in the world. A great, nicely hydrated dough makes this #1 on my list even today, 20 years after leaving home and travelling the country and world. A bit greasy at times (but not to its detriment) and always delicious.
Food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The club sandwich was delicious and the bread was perfectly toasted. The pizza tasted great. I'm a fry girl and theirs were yummy. It was like a steak fry meets crinkle cut.
