“Comfortable family place that's been around since 1974 serving up tasty Italian dishes and pizza a little West of I-75 just South of Flint. Large parking lot. Great for couples, family or groups with 3 separate dining rooms. Good pizza ( I'm a Chicagoan who knows good pies) and great Italian dishes featuring a zesty marinara and plenty of cheese. Especially like their baked pasta dishes which are served in generous sized portions at reasonable prices and are accompanied by either soup or salad. Another plus is a fair assortment of craft beers on tap. Can't comment on desserts as even taking leftovers home, we're always too full to order any.“

“We love Zippy’s - so much that we actually burned ourselves out. Tonight, we were in the mood again. I noticed their chicken parm states ‘never frozen’ and baked fresh. I hate frozen chicken on my chicken parm, so I took the chance. It should say the pasta and sauce isn’t frozen but the 2 small chicken tenders are definitely frozen. Plus, they were tough. We added meat to the spaghetti so it was almost $18.00. For $2 more, I could’ve ordered Pestos and got freshly breaded. The description is very misleading & we wouldn’t get it again. Our pizza was also burned around the crust. We love the business and we love their pizza, but it seems like every where we go, we don’t get what we paid for & I’m tired of just not saying anything.“

“I love the olive garden and I usually have a good server but today the experience was not so good. The server was talking way too fast that we had to repeatly ask what she was saying. The were doing wine samples today my sister asked for a sample of the wine it was like 2 teaspoons in the glass. I looked around the room at everyone else sample glasses and yep low and behold up to the fatty part of the glass. She acted as if she didn't want to be there. We had to ask for to-go boxes for all 3 of us. She sucked as a server. Had to ask for refills on our endless soup. She didn't smile much at all real stone face. When I decide to go again, i will not sit down if she's my server.(Brittney).

People kept coming up to me asking where the food was from because they loved it so much. We all agreed it was the best lasagna we'd ever had. The staff was amazing to work with as well. “Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!“

“I was practically raised in this place by my parents in the 70’s-80’s and was in town for a funeral. This was like stepping back in time to a happier time/place. Baked mostaccioli and pizza were just as incredible as I remembered; maybe even better (is that possible?). Service by Hannah was outstanding to top it off. Well done Latina’s, a Flint treasure!“

“First time in Michigan. I was told that Jets had better crust then Buddy's. I ordered 2 pizzas via the app and selected Detroit style. When I picked them up and got them home I had round pizzas. I was disappointed but the pizza was good.“
