went to valpo Sunday afternoon for 1 cocktail. Waited a long time but the very nice bartender explained someone just quit and he was in the weeds. I felt bad for him we got our drinks. Here's my concern why didn't a manager step in to help him. A manager looking guy was walking around I'm sure doing manager stuff but than sitting at the bar having a coke not very long but still the bartender was still in the weeds. Than we walked to the bathroom they were filthy mind you this is 2pm on a Sunday. A lot of tables with dishes and food on them yet a lot of wait staff just chit chatting. Good luck it seems like you might have an employee problem.

Had reservations last night at 7 for a friend’s 50th birthday and we were not seated till after 8. We were never apologized to and the manager didn’t even speak with us about there mistake. Will not recommend this place. This is for the Three Oaks establishment

Unfortunately this place has missed the mark. We have dined in multiple times(valpo location), and unfortunately the service has always fell short. Tonight we dined in and we waited 30 mins to get our drinks (2 beers and 2 vodka club sodas). The runner then served us the wrong appetizer which we had sent back before even placed on the table. We finally got our drinks 5 mins before our food arrived. Waters were empty on the table. The lack of service was truly disappointing. I can understand in a “new” restaurant there are corks that need to be worked out but after dining 3+ times there’s clearly a lack of expectations from their management and staff.

Vegetarian options and unique flavor profiles. Right next to the Acorn. Industrial Americana themed. Located in a refurbished manufacturing site. Great spot to eat in Three Oaks!

The Whiskey, beer, and the space were amazing. Food, a little less impressive. The burger was a solid choice, but the appetizers were just “fine”. I would go again for drinks 100%

Vegan Gluten free Grinder is amazing and the whiskey is top shelf.

We were really excited to visit Journeyman in 3 Oaks. Disappointed & won't return. Slow to seat the two of us (only were 1-2 filled tables), had to go & find waiter, poor quality appetizer & overly expensive!

Great place & vibe. Love the energy. Amazing drink selection, and food was awesome.
Johnny our waiter was very knowledgeable & helpful in what drinks to order, and they were great! We will definitely be back!

Went today- the apple bourbon cake was phenomenal and we enjoyed a couple whiskey flights. Our server, Amber, was wonderful!

The staff is amazing. The food is too tier. They’re so helpful and kind. The space is beautiful. I can’t wait to come back.

Great environment. Really cool building. Great food! Highly recommend the Giardinaira chicken!

The salad was excellent. The Detroit meets Italy pizza crust was very tough. The ribs were tender but dry. Almost no sauce. Service was fair. Barrel aged old fashioned, was not the best I've had.
