The Tom Cat Tavern is a super special place. It’s giving cute, millennial dive bar meets Midwest supper club. There’s a lot of creativity, thought, and care that goes into their food and drinks, and it is all superb. Burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! (Which is why there’s no pic - I dug right in lol) 🍔
Excellent fresh ingredients, balanced layering (patty was the perfect smash style instead of the obnoxious half pound elsewhere) and was NEVER left under a warmer. The relay race between bartender and cook was seamless even when most seats were full and just the two of them working.

The perfect bar. Wonderful staff, Meria particularly, cocktails that are both thoughtful, well-made, and a sensory experience. If you’re a local or just passing through, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop here.
