Yes, it is a dive bar. We had a good time enjoying the atmosphere. It was very busy and they only had 1 bartender. None of this was her fault. Due to the crowd she was flustered and got our drinks wrong and gave our food to another table. We got a meat lovers pizza and a burger. Both were great. The burger was huge and had great chargrilled flavor.
I came out this way just to have a little camping getaway, decided to go for a nighttime cruise with some good friends and stumbled upon this place by complete accident. The service, the patrons, and the overall atmosphere was simply phenomenal. I will certainly be back next time I decide to camp up the street. Definitely an 11 out of 10 experience overall.
First time out to Ruby Creek was New Years. The people were welcoming, not like some taverns and bars where you're only welcomed if you're a regular. They had an amazing fireworks display, better than some 4th of July fireworks around us. The only issue was how crowded it was, but that's good for business.
