The lady was very nice letting us try different products so we really knew what we were buying. She had some great input to what we were looking for and how to pair it.

They have everything for every taste. Don't believe me? Ask for a sample of ANYTHING and you'll see for yourself why so many people flock to this cool little shop.

I always stop by when in town! Love that they are so very "Pure Michigan". The DT store is always so preppy and well presented. Kristi greeted us right away. I'm addicted to the Pumpkin Seed Salsa-amazing! I got a great deal-Buy 6 and the 7th was half off! Thistle honey, fruit curds, and the Triple Berry Conserve is delicious! I so appreciate Kristi and her well run store! See ya next time!

Great jams and jellies but the lemon curd is especially great! Wonderful staff and environment 10/10!

Delightfully elitist condiment shop that will charge you $25 for a miniscule container of some exotic jam. Nary a crimson blush of shame will stain their cheeks as they announce your total at check out. SO FUN. We bought loads of things as Christmas gifts.

Wonderful selection of the best quality jams and preserves made and sold in MI. If you are looking to impress with a gift or for your own table you are sure to find something.

Such a cute little store right in downtown Traverse City. All kinds of jelly's, salsa & sauces. Prices are reasonable but it's easy spend a lot of money since everything looks and sounds so delicious. They also have recipe cards throughout the store for all kinds of delicious ideas that their products can be used in. Staff is friendly and helpful answering any questions and taking care that purchases are packed safely. If you're wondering around downtown Traverse definitely stop in.

Think of American Spoon as a place for foodies to accessorize their plates. Super attentive staff, an often-open sampling bar -- all so you can find delicious to suit your palate.

Very fun store with a lot to look at. Pricey, but front street businesses typically are. The customer service was great and everything was packaged up nice and neatly. Honestly my only qualm is that everything was priced pretty high. Buying local is great though and I try to when I can afford it at this price tag! Store was clean and well organized too. Overall great spot. Just don’t go if you aren’t looking to spend a pretty penny.

Love this shop! They offer a variety of delicious canned foods. They often come with recommendations for recipes to use them with. I often use this shop as a pit stop on our annual Traverse City visit.

This is my daughters favorite jam store but things changed because we were yelled at by the staff today because we didn't notice there was a limit due to COVID. After I told the lady there was no need to yell she continued yelling, "DID YOU NOT SEE THE SIGN?" There is never a reason to yell and talk down to anyone. Won't be spending money there any time soon.
