This is a must visit for seafood lovers. Separate GF menu and very knowledgeable. The lobster & shrimp bisque was amazing, and so was the halibut, salmon and risotto. Can’t decide which was best!

We come to Apache every time we make the trip to TC. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. They took one of the best filet dishes off the menu with the Boursin cheese and no more delicious bread basket. Apparently you can now buy it as an appetizer. We may or may not return again.

Jules was our server and she was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu, and very welcoming. Her calm presence and catering mannerisms made us feel right at home. The halibut was absolutely delicious!!! The entire restaurant environment was warm, cozy, and perfectly decorated for Christmas!

Apache Grill has an experienced new addition to their wonderful wait staff…. Meet Jules! She is perfectly knowledgeable about the menu and recommends appropriate pairings of wines.
Her lovely demeanor and polished manners made our dining experience absolutely marvelous. We are so pleased that Apache captured such a service oriented individual. Jules is quite the “Jewel” !! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!

Jules, our server, was incredibly personable and made a normal date night with my husband into something more special.
I cannot recommend this place enough for it's drinks, food, and service.

We have been to Apache Trout many times…food has always been great but have noticed some changes to the menu that make us disappointed each time we go. First off, bread always used to be complimentary…now it is an appetizer at $19.50. My husband ordered the pork…it was served with baked apples and not one vegetable. We kind of think each meal should come with a veggie side dish. My whitefish was excellent, came with healthy portion of broccoli, enough that I shared with my husband. The service received 3 stars as our waiter started out excellent, friendly. However, he knew the patrons at the next table and chatted with them quite a bit, even sat with them for a brief period, sharing pictures and such. Not really sure this is professional in a fine dining restaurant, I don’t think it is. The prices, like everything else, are through the roof from what it was just a few short years ago. Our total bill for two meals and the bread was roughly $100 before tip. Not really sure the image is still being upheld in my mind of what Apache Trout Grill used to be, sorry to say!

We have been coming to Apache every time we visit the area as it was one of our favorite restaurants. I'm not sure what happened, but our last experience was such a disappointment. It seems from reading other recent reviews we are not the only ones to notice it has gone downhill.

We should have known something was off because never have we gone to Apache where it wasn't a long wait, but when we walked in, we were one of maybe 8 tables in the whole place.

There were no specials, and the menu seemed to have fewer options than any previous visit. The bread & oil that used to be complementary is now $20. My salad had that plastic bag taste to it. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta that didn't smell or look appetizing when it came out. The vegetables in it were overcooked and mushy, and I had to add seasoning & butter to make it something I could stand to eat and even then I only ate a few bites.
My husband's sirloin steak didn't look appetizing either and about 1/3 of it was fat.
Our bill was $106 (before tip) for 2 entrees, 2 side salads, & one non alcoholic beverage & I feel we could have had a better meal at a chain restaurant for half of the price. That being said, our server was friendly and we have no complaints about the service.

I rwish we had said something to management when we were there, but we were so disappointed by our experience we just wanted to leave, so I could have something else to eat. I hope they can make changes to improve and go back to their previous quality.
