I wish I didn't have to do this, but had a very simple breakfast. 2 eggs over easy, hash browns n bacon. Neither eggs were over east, more like hard one eggs was smashed , devoid of yoke. Hash browns were dry crunchy unfavorable. Loved the bacon. All this served on saucer instead of plate. I paid 15 bucks for a plate not worth 5 bucks. Extremely small portion. You should close now.

It was just my 5 year old and I, and we waited 9 minutes to be seated. This was during breakfast hours, with only 6 other people in the restaurant... The staff kept looking at us standing there as they kept carrying on a conversation about after work topics. One of them finally grabbed menus, and led us to our seats. Then he tossed the menus on the table, and walked away. No greeting, didn't ask us what we wanted to start with, no communication. The first thing I ordered, they were out of. The second thing, out of... I was nice in person, and still left a tip. But, this will be our last time coming here.

Even though they were shorthanded service was prompt and courteous. I eat at other Bog Boy restaurants down state and the food here was definitely of better quality. We got the sample platter and seafood buffet and everything was absolutely amazing. If ever in TC again we will definitely be back.

Just Me
When I was young, we used eat at Big Boy quite often. But now I see why they are closing. When we went to this particular Big Boy, there was only one other table of customers, although another group came in. Anyway, I had to let them know twice I was ready to order and then everytime we needed something, we had to let them know. We were eventually waiting for our deserts, and our server decided to mop the floor instead of making them. When we finally got them, they looked like they were literally thrown together, what a mess. We spent 1 1/2 hours in there just to eat dinner. Just a shame.
Slim Jim was fabulous, best served with fries and a real, hand-made chocolate milkshake. Great service!

Don't waste your money! Don't believe any positive reviews. The waitress told another customer that the general manager wasn't paying the bills and that's why they didn't have some items. I went to this location because the other ones near this one had worse reviews. I'm disappointed and feel completely ripped off!
We walked in on a Sunday afternoon. First time ever visiting a Big Boy. The waitress couldn't have been less thrilled. She acted like she was stuck in math class and just waiting for school to let out. She took our order. The only positive with a big downside was the food came out in about 15 minutes. The downside was it was slightly warm, thrown together, order was messed up but we still ate the crap!
The waitress only filled one of our drinks. Never filled any other drinks. Not once did she ask us if we wanted desserts. Just completely zoned out and uninterested in doing her job. It truly was a bad experience.
The food for what you get is insanely expensive. Overall horrible experience. It's proof they will hire anyone to work and they don't care. We still left a tip but the waitress needed a hand written tip on how to properly do her job. It's unreal these places keep charging more but everything is going down hill.
Skip it at all costs! Eat somewhere else or local!
