We really enjoyed dining and having wine several times the last few weeks at Brengman’s family winery, which we recently discovered. Our favorite is the arugula salad as a standout but we also enjoyed other menu items; shrimp scampi, brined chicken and a tomato and mozzarella salad. The wine is also tasty and the concrete white Chardonnay is a bargain. The bistro atmosphere is charming. The experience was higher quality food and more reasonably priced than many...
Matthew was a wonderful host; we had the Celsprese salad and the Chicken breast. Absolutely wonderful, juicy chicken and lovely glass of Block 65 with it. Go. Be amazed. Ask for Matthew. You're welcome.
What a pleasure! Lovely, rich gewurztraminer wine had a lingering clean light fruit flavor. This was delicious with fresh, tender trout and sprinkled with fennel/orange/watercress salad. Kudos to the chef.
